Are you looking for a church that teaches the Bible? You have found it. We want to be made complete by God’s truth so that we may serve in every good work and do what is well pleasing in His sight.
We welcome you, just as you are. If you are broken, hurting, don’t know God or you know God but want to study the Word more, grow closer to Him or whatever the case may be. Come!
“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21.
OUR CURRENT STUDY
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth . . .” Thus begins Genesis, the first book of the Bible. Come journey together with us, as we traverse this great “book of beginnings,” moving from the initial moments of creation through Adam and Eve’s precipitous fall, and then on to the flood and Noah’s building of a magnificent vessel in which survive the great cataclysm. (And, that’s just the first 8 chapters!)
After that, we’ll travel with Abraham as God leads him to a land that is promised to his descendants forever. We’ll witness the birth of the Hebrew nation, and we’ll meet Abraham’s son and grandson, the other two Jewish Patriarchs, Isaac and Jacob. Finally, we’ll be swept away to Egypt with Jacob’s son, Joseph, where he will eventually become second in command of all the land of Egypt. There is no shortage of action, and, there is no shortage of biblical foundation in this amazing “book of beginnings.”
Come journey with us as we venture through Genesis. You will be blessed because you did. We meet Sunday evenings at 2 P.M. Our services are at 24905 Witte Rd., at The Maple Valley Church of the Nazarene.
